Description: It is common to promote a high performing employee into a supervisory role. However, the best machine operator does not inherently translate to the best supervisor, which requires a different skill set. 60% of leaders report being promoted to supervisory roles with no training on how to be an effective leader. This lack of training can negatively affect the new supervisor, their team, and the company as a whole as they are set up to fail. Instead, provide essential skills to your supervisors to help them excel in their role. With proper resources and training, supervisors -both newly promoted and those in the role for years – can impact the organization on a profound level.
