The Ridgway Public Library and the Community Education Center partnered to host “Arlo’s Creative Splash,” a fun-filled, family-friendly event held at the Ridgway Rails to Trails on May 15th. This engaging event aimed to inspire imagination, creativity, and artistic expression among children and their families.
Gathering at the Trailhead pavilion, families enjoyed a lively reading of Arlo Draws an Octopus, a charming story that celebrates imagination, perseverance, and the joy of creativity. Following the story, special guest artist Shelly Caggiano led a hands-on painting lesson, guiding participants through the process of creating their own colorful octopus masterpieces inspired by the book.
