Building a culture of continuous improvement requires all employees, both production and administrative, to have a basic understanding of lean principles and how they can be applied. The class combines lecture and simulation to provide a firm foundation of lean manufacturing tools, such as Standardized Work, Teams, Workplace Organization, and others. Manufacturers who embed a culture of continuous improvement frequently report cost savings, efficiency increases, and job satisfaction gains as a result of attending Lean Basic Training.

Learning Targets:

  • Learn the basics of lean, the concepts, and its benefits
